Shorncliffe. Brisbane. Queensland. Australia.

Shorncliffe is my hometown. My high school is situated 200m away from the foreshore. It is entrenched with history and was once considered a holiday destination. Now it is at the bottom of the barrel of South East Queensland beach side destinations. Regardless, it still possesses a beauty for those that are open to it.

A long exposure smoothed out the ripples of the ever calm Shorncliffe. The sun rose with minimal intensity, however, left a beautiful purple streak of cloud to the left. This piece encapsulates Shorncliffe foreshore: relaxed retirees walking their dogs, casting a line in, or admiring the rising sun.
